Bigg Boss 18 Contestants List:The wait is almost over for the fans of Bigg Boss! Salman Khan, the host of this popular reality show, has completed the promo shoot for Bigg Boss 18. The promo can be released anytime now, and fans are eagerly waiting to see what’s in store this season. According to sources, the theme for this year is “Present, Past, and Future,” which might mean that some former Bigg Boss contestants will make a comeback in some capacity. Exciting, right?
This year, the Bigg Boss house will have 20 contestants. There were talks that almost all participants from “Laughter Chef” were offered a spot in Bigg Boss 18. However, due to the popularity of “Laughter Chef,” it seems like the show might be extended, and hence, we might not see any contestants from that show in Bigg Boss.
Contestants Who Were Approached But Won’t Be Joining
Many names have been floating around as potential contestants. But not all of them have been approached by the show’s makers. Here are some updates:
Digvijay Singh Rathore – The winner of “Splitsvilla 15” gained a lot of popularity, and his name was circulating everywhere for Bigg Boss 18. However, the truth is that the makers never approached him for the show.
Kashish Kapoor – Known for her bold personality, Kashish made headlines with her social media presence. She even claimed during a live session that she would be on Bigg Boss 18. However, just like Digvijay, she was not approached by the show’s producers.
Thugesh – The popular YouTuber was also rumored to be a part of this season, but he rejected the offer.
Chandan Prabhakar (Chandu) – The comedian, who gained fame from “The Kapil Sharma Show,” has turned down Bigg Boss’s offer for the fourth time.
Almost Confirmed Contestants
While some have turned down the offer, others are more likely to step into the Bigg Boss house. Here are some names that are almost confirmed:
Isha Singh – A 25-year-old television actress, Isha is set to make her debut in reality TV with Bigg Boss 18. Known for her roles in “Ishq Ka Rang Safed,” “Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani,” and “Sirf Tum,” her participation is nearly confirmed.
Dheeraj Dhoopar – Another popular TV actor, Dheeraj’s name has been on the list of potential Bigg Boss contestants for several years. This year, there is a 90% chance he will join. However, he is currently busy with his ongoing TV serial “Rabb Se Hai Dua.” If he gets an exit from the show, he might be on Bigg Boss.
Jaan Khan – The makers have approached Jaan, who was a part of “Splitsvilla Season 8” in 2014. He has since appeared in several TV serials like “Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani,” “Ishqbaaz,” “Hamari Bahu Silk,” and “Naamkaran.” Jaan, who is eager to make a name for himself, is expected to be a contestant this year.
Deepika Arya – Deepika, wife of Bigg Boss 17 contestant Sunny Arya, has been in the news lately due to a viral controversy involving “Vadapav Girl” Chandrika. She has expressed that she would never reject the offer to join Bigg Boss, and the makers seem excited to have her.
Kashmir Mahajani – After making a name for herself in the Marathi industry, Kashmir has been a part of several Hindi reality shows. She has a 50-50 chance of joining Bigg Boss 18.
Niyati Fatnani – Seen in “Khatron Ke Khiladi 14,” Niyati has been approached for Bigg Boss. Her performance on the stunt-based show won many hearts, but she is known for being very quiet. It will be interesting to see how she survives in the Bigg Boss house.
Shaheer Sheikh – A well-known face on TV for the past 15 years, Shaheer has been without work for almost a year now. With Bigg Boss’s offer, there is a high chance that Shaheer will say yes.
Sunil Kumar – Known for his role as a headless ghost in the super-hit movie “Shree T” and as Amitabh Bachchan’s body double in “Kalki 2898 AD,” Sunil has been offered a good amount to join Bigg Boss 18, and it seems like he might say yes.
Sudhanshu Pandey – After quitting “Anupamaa,” one of the highest TRP-rated shows, Sudhanshu was approached by Bigg Boss’s makers. With over 30 movies and 25 TV serials in his 30-year career, he would make for an interesting contestant. However, he hasn’t given an official confirmation yet.
Other Names in Talks
Some more names have been approached, but their chances of joining are slim:
- Faisal Shaikh (Mr. Faisu) – With a massive fan following, the makers would love to have Faisu on the show. However, bringing such a popular figure into the house might be seen as unfair to the other contestants. His friend, Jannat Zubair, was also approached, but she is unavailable due to “Laughter Chef.”
- Aalisha Panwar – Known for her role in “Ishq Mein Marjawan,” Aalisha might join Bigg Boss. She is expected to leave her ongoing serial “Naath Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani” for the show.
- Anjali Anand, Sameera Reddy, and Krishna Shroff – Conversations are ongoing with Anjali (known for “Dhai Kilo Prem” and “Kulfi Kumar Bajewala”), Bollywood actress and mom influencer Sameera Reddy, and Tiger Shroff’s sister Krishna Shroff.
- Nazila (Munawar Faruqui’s Ex-Girlfriend), Surbhi Jyoti, Shakti Arora, Samay Raina, and Chahat Pandey – These popular personalities have been approached, but the chances of them joining are quite low.
- Harsh Beniwal and Zayan Saif – The makers are making serious efforts to convince these viral content creators to join Bigg Boss 18. With millions of fans across the country, their presence would attract huge viewership. However, both have shown little interest in participating.
