Hope Logan’s Seduction Attempt
Our first prediction revolves around Hope Logan. Last week, Hope was seen fantasizing about Finn. While Finn was at home with Steffy, showing her love and affection, Hope was lost in her thoughts. It’s clear that Finn has no interest in Hope, but she seems determined.
In a new promo set at Eric’s mansion, which is part of the Y&R crossover episode, Hope appears to be acting a little loopy. With a glass of champagne in hand, she’s seen dancing, but something seems off. It looks like she might be slightly tipsy. This could be a result of her pent-up frustration.
As Finn dances with Steffy, unable to keep his hands off her, Hope watches from the sidelines. It’s evident that she’s imagining herself in Steffy’s place. A promo photo even shows Hope and Finn alone in a secluded area of the Forrester Mansion. Hope is seen clutching Finn’s arms, trying to pull him closer. However, Finn’s body language suggests he’s pushing her away. Despite the clear rejection, it seems like Hope is not giving up. Could she try to kiss him next week? It certainly looks that way.
Luna Naawa’s Conflict with RJ Forrester
Our second prediction involves Luna Naawa, who was very upset with RJ Forrester last week. Luna discovered Tom’s backpack at her and Poppy’s apartment, along with letters that Tom wrote to Poppy. Luna’s mother denied killing Tom but hinted that he could have been her father, not Bill Spencer. Despite this, Poppy insists that Bill is her dad and wants Luna to forget about it.
Luna confided in RJ, but she might not realize how untrustworthy he is. RJ has a history of gossiping, even spilling personal details like taking Luna’s vCard to everyone at work. When he bumped into Katie at Il Giardino while picking up pizza, he couldn’t resist telling her everything. Katie, who has a vendetta against Poppy, now has more ammunition.
As a result, the cops show up at Bill’s place with Tom’s backpack, ready to arrest Poppy. Luna might find herself very angry with RJ. After all, it seems like he’s more interested in getting Poppy arrested than being a loyal boyfriend.
Bill Spencer Loses It on Katie
Next up, we predict that Bill Spencer is going to lose his temper with Katie. This week, we saw Bill getting tired of Katie’s obsession with Poppy. Katie has been acting like a detective, even though she hasn’t shown interest in Bill for years. But now that Bill has someone new, Katie is suddenly concerned.
Katie is convinced that Poppy is a monster and won’t back down. When Bill discovers that Katie called the cops on Poppy based on flimsy evidence, he’s going to be furious. Especially since their son, Will Spencer, seems to be siding with Katie. It’s clear that Katie has influenced Will against Poppy, which only adds fuel to the fire.
In the upcoming promo, Katie lets the cops into Bill’s house, where they find the backpack with Poppy’s mint container inside. This doesn’t look good for Poppy, but Bill is likely to believe in her innocence. He might give Poppy the benefit of the doubt, leading to a major confrontation with Katie.
Taylor Hayes vs. Brooke Logan Over Hope
Our fourth prediction involves Taylor Hayes, who is set to return soon. Taylor was briefly seen during the Monaco shoot, but she wasn’t physically there. The scenes were green-screened, with an extra in Monaco filming the scenes. However, Taylor is back on our screens by August 20th, and she’s ready to stir things up.
Hope has been antagonizing Steffy at every opportunity, even in front of others at work. For example, when Steffy mentioned she runs Forrester Creations, Hope was quick to snap that Steffy is just the co-CEO. Hope’s behavior is becoming increasingly bold, and Taylor is likely to notice.
Taylor has never been a fan of Hope, especially after she broke Thomas’s heart and then tried to steal him from his fiancée, Paris. Now, with Hope making a move on Steffy’s husband, Taylor is bound to have some strong opinions. This could lead to a clash with Brooke Logan, but this time, the conflict might be about Hope rather than Ridge. It would be a refreshing change from the usual love triangle drama.
Justin Barber: The Real Killer?
Our final prediction is perhaps the most shocking. We believe Justin Barber might be the real killer, not Poppy. Justin has a dark past, mostly involving dirty work for Bill Spencer. From trying to kill Ridge by pushing him out of a helicopter to hiring an arsonist to burn down Spectra Fashions, Justin has done it all. He even helped Bill gaslight Liam into thinking Bill was sleeping with Steffy to drive them apart.
A few years ago, when Bill and Liam were in jail for a hit-and-run, Justin kidnapped Thomas and locked him in a cage to stop him from exonerating them. Justin’s goal was to take over Spencer Publications while Bill and Liam were out of commission. His actions suggest he’s capable of extreme measures.
Now, Justin has reappeared out of nowhere. He could be the one who killed Tom and Hollis. Justin might have seen Tom as a threat, especially if Tom was Luna’s dad. He could have killed Hollis after he found Tom’s backpack and then set up Poppy by planting her mint container with drug traces.
Justin’s motivation might be to keep Bill from getting too close to another woman. He might also feel some loyalty to Katie, hoping to help her by removing Poppy from the picture. If Justin is the killer, it would make sense given his history of violence and manipulation.
Final Thoughts
